Harumi Kokaji has developed broad expertise in telecommunications (mobile communication, Wireless LAN, short-range communication) through working at a domestic company and a foreign-affiliated company.  She entered the intellectual property field in 2004, and gained extensive experience in filing applications and claim drafting for digital communications (mobile communication, Wireless LAN, voice encoding, amplifiers for base stations, and power line communication systems) at another patent law firm.

She joined Sonoda & Kobayashi in 2011 and has broadened her expertise in robotics, digital circuits, and network technologies.
