Prior to joining the firm, Debora Cheng honed her skills in the tax practice of a Big 4 accounting firm in New Zealand, where she worked closely with the specialist indirect tax, transfer pricing, and tax legal teams. There, she had experience working with and assisting international clients in specialist tax matters, as well as in legal research and writing. She was admitted as a barrister and solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand in 2022. Debora joined the firm in March 2023.
