After graduating, Tomoya Uno gained practical experience as a software development engineer and systems engineer at an electrical equipment manufacturer. In 2019, he joined a Fukuoka-based IP Law Firm where he was engaged in all aspects of patent, utility model, design, and trademark rights, as well as trials, appraisals, and patent infringement litigation. In 2025, he joined Sonoda & Kobayashi.
