Osamu Yanaka will write a series of articles for the Nippon Intellectual Property Translation Journal.
These articles will attempt to provide background information on the specifications of the ten great inventors introduced by the Japan Patent Office and sample translations thereof. The third article focuses on the patent specification of the Pearl King, Kokichi Mikimoto, entitled “METHOD OF DEPOSITING NACREOUS SUBSTANCE,” which was filed in Japan in 1894.
