加藤女士以体液渗透压・离子调节机制的研究获得博士学位。此后在阿尔伯塔州立大学、以及圣弗朗西斯泽维尔大学(加拿大)做博士后研究工作。
加藤博士经某专利代理所、研究所的知识产权管理工作后,加入本所。
