Dit kan ofwel samen met vastlegging van octrooirechten of los daarvan gebeuren. In sommige gevallen zijn ontwerpen nuttiger dan octrooien omdat ze vaak makkelijk afdwingbaar zijn. De bescherming van ontwerpen is in het bijzonder effectief wanneer de te beschermen producten een korte levensloop hebben. Op verzoek maken wij gebruik van het unieke systeem voor ontwerprechten in Japan om hulp te kunnen bieden aan cli\u00ebnten in elk stadium van bescherming van hun IE.
